Tifanis Eu
Counsellor / Psychotherapist
Tifanis is a counsellor/psychotherapist passionate about helping individuals heal from trauma, attachment wounds, and the downstream challenges they have in their lives.
Grounded in the neuroscience of trauma recovery and psychotherapy, Tifanis’s therapeutic approach recognises that lasting change is not achieved through just thinking differently, using willpower, or talking about our problems. It also involves cultivating a felt sense of safety and okay-ness in our own skin. From there, we can start embodying the best version of ourselves, responding rather than reacting, and living in alignment with our present-day values rather than being driven by past patterns.
To this end, Tifanis employs brain- and body-based modalities (see the “Qualifications” section below for more details) to complement traditional therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness.
Tifanis graduated with a Master’s in Counselling from Flinders University of South Australia and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science (Psychology, Sociology) from Singapore Management University. In addition to her clinical role, she has been a certified yoga teacher since 2020 and has spent years practising attunement to the mind-body connection in herself and others. Between completing her Bachelor's and completing her Master’s, Tifanis worked in the Tech industry, Advertising & Marketing, and also ran a business in Consumer Packaged Goods. Her diverse professional background gives her a grounded, real-world perspective that informs her relational and practical approach to therapy.
Tifanis is based in Singapore. She works with local and expatriate clients presenting with concerns across anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship and marriage, career and workplace, burnout and more.
Qualifications:
Master of Counselling, Flinders University, Australia
Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology, Sociology), Singapore Management University, Singapore
Attachment-focused EMDR Therapist Part 1-3, Parnell Institute, USA
Neurogenic Yoga™️ & Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises®️ (TRE®️), TRE for ALL, USA
Brainspotting, BSPUK, UK
Registered Yoga Teacher (Yoga Alliance International)
I cannot praise Tifanis enough for her professionalism and the profound effectiveness of her sessions. She is an absolute pleasure to work with—deeply calm and compassionate, yet appropriately firm when necessary to ensure you achieve genuine transformation rather than just sliding by.
Over the course of three months, Tifanis helped me address a lingering nervous system 'charge' stemming from a head-on car collision almost 30 years ago. Through somatic practices (tremoring) and EMDR, that charge has completely dissipated. I can finally sleep without 'lunging' out of bed, my overall anxiety has significantly decreased, and the memory of the accident rarely crosses my mind. The left and right brain integration she facilitated was honestly unbelievable.
Even if you aren't seeking deep trauma therapy, I highly recommend Tifanis to anyone wanting to regulate their constant 'fight/flight/freeze' anxiety. Instead of relying on self-help books that often ignore the complex connection between the mind, body, spirit, and nervous system, working directly with Tifanis is a massive step toward living a better life. You will not be disappointed with the investment of your time and money. Five stars across the board.” - Ryan

Our sincere thanks to Tifanis . She has helped me to get back my normal self . 6 months ago at the Newton MRT station , downtown line , this man ran out of the train & hit me , I was flung to the ground even though at that time my hubby was holding my left arm , I was unconscious for a few seconds , my head was bleeding n was very painful n I felt very cold , later I was sent to TTSH A& E . Fortunately no internal bleeding & no fractures after CT scan was done .
My head wound has healed but I still feel the pain on the healed wound as well as the surroundings. It affected me very badly , it was too traumatic. Whenever the pain came I kept asking why this man hit me & is making me suffering . My son & daughter in law were encouraging me to try EMDR but I refused I thought it would go away after some time . But it is already 6 months so finally I accepted it ( my son insisted to pay all sessions) see how fortunate I am to have such filial son & daughter in law.
First session Tifanis let me tell her all my stories in the presence of my hubby , I wanted him to be there . The 2nd session she gave me the tapper n asked me to be in a comfortable place , then connect a person to that comfortable place , then ask me who I think was protective of me & asked me who I think is the wisest person . After this , she started to ask me to go to the most fearful place which was the train platform . I started to see myself on the cold hard platform with a bleeding head & was so painful , I was surrounded by very kind strangers helping me . While I was relating the incident my tears flowed down nonstop , after the session .
I felt ok . That night when I was going to take my bath I found that I did not fear washing my hair which for the past 6 months every day I feared it . I enjoyed the warm water flowing onto my hair . What a contrast, I wouldn’t believe it . When I was in my bed the pain came again & I followed Tifanis advise , I went into my sleep without feeling the pain . Really a great difference . I went for my 3rd lesson , this time I requested to try out Eye movement instead of tapping after that I accepted that that accident has already passed . When I met my old classmates during CNY dinner they exclaimed that I looked more vibrant then a month ago they saw me . They were so fascinated by my recovery , they asked for Tifanis contact. Again , thanks so much to Tifanis. - Anonymous

I struggled with anxiety for many years, and it had a much bigger impact on my life than I realized at the time. It affected my work performance and even my daily routine. I often went to sleep feeling anxious and would wake up with my palms sweating, already worried about what might happen at work that day. Even when I was on holiday, I sometimes couldn’t truly relax because my mind was constantly thinking about what was waiting for me when I returned.
Meeting Tifanis really changed things for me. From the beginning, she listened very patiently to everything I shared. She never rushed the conversation, and she asked thoughtful and relevant questions that helped me see my own situation more clearly. Through our sessions, she helped me slowly identify the root of my anxiety — something that would have been very difficult for me to figure out on my own.
She also introduced practical exercises that I could use anytime and anywhere. They were simple but very effective. I started practicing them regularly, and surprisingly, within less than two months I could already feel a significant difference.
Today, my anxiety is more than 90% gone. My relationship with work and daily life has changed in a very positive way. I feel calmer, more in control, and able to enjoy things again without constantly worrying about the future.
I am truly grateful for the help and support Tifanis gave me. Looking back, I only wish I had met her earlier — it might have saved me many years of unnecessary mental stress. If anyone is struggling with anxiety or similar challenges, I would sincerely recommend speaking with her. - Yichao
