Chrissie is a Yin yoga teacher and mindfulness practitioner dedicated to guiding individuals toward inner peace, resilience, and holistic well-being. With over 15 years of experience teaching Yin yoga, she integrates mindful breathing, deep relaxation practices, and meditative awareness to support her students on their journey of healing and growth.
A cancer survivor herself, Chrissie brings a profound depth of empathy and authenticity to her teaching. She understands firsthand the challenges of navigating uncertainty and rebuilding strength, and she draws from her own lived experience to create a safe, nurturing space for others to reconnect with their bodies, hearts, and minds.
Chrissie is trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and she skillfully weaves these approaches into her classes. Through Yin yoga, mindful breathing, and yogic sleep (guided relaxation), she helps her students cultivate calm, reduce stress and anxiety, and foster greater self-awareness.
Her teaching is anchored in the belief that stillness and gentle awareness can open the door to profound transformation, allowing individuals to find rest, renewal, and alignment with their true selves.
